Rebecca Bauer Long

Rebecca Bauer Long is the founding attorney of Long Law, PLLC, a Florida-based family law firm serving clients throughout Tampa Bay and across the state of Florida, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota, and Polk counties. She focuses exclusively on family law, representing individuals and families in high-stakes and emotionally complex matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, stepparent adoption, domestic violence, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-judgment modification and enforcement.

Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and graduated cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law. Her academic background, combined with her focused family law practice, allows her to approach each case with both analytical precision and a deep understanding of family dynamics.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Rebecca has been rooted in the Tampa Bay area since the age of 18. Having lived in Tampa, South Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, and Lithia, she offers clients a strong connection to the local community and an in-depth familiarity with the courts and legal landscape throughout the region.

Known for her strategic advocacy and client-centered approach, Rebecca provides sophisticated legal counsel tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. She is committed to guiding clients through life’s most challenging transitions with discretion, clarity, and strength — whether through negotiation or litigation.

Rebecca’s perspective is further shaped by her personal experiences as a former military spouse and adoptive parent, giving her a nuanced understanding of the legal and emotional complexities involved in family law and adoption matters. She is a member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar and an active participant in the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa.

Outside of her practice, Rebecca enjoys boating, spending time outdoors, and embracing the Florida lifestyle with her children and pets. She is an avid supporter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Tampa Bay Rays, as well as the Chicago Bears. Rebecca is also a devoted dog mom to Oliver, her King Charles Cavalier.
